Southeast Islands

Maybe it’s the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere that hugs to you like the humidity, maybe it’s the natural stone decor that creates a sense of permanent beauty, or maybe it’s the White Lotus effect—but the allure of Southeast Asia’s tropical Islands is in full bloom.

The key to creating a space this calm and inviting relies on a few simple practices. Keep a muted palette, pulling in a few colours that reflect the surrounding jungle and sea. Use strong natural materials sourced from the islands (think marble and solid wood) that bring the outside in and add a minimal yet weighted quality. Then balance that with airy white cotton gauze that dances in the breeze, and maybe add a seashell or two—just a few favourites to remind you of how beautiful travel can be.
